6 Halloween Events in Central Oregon

The day of dress up, ghosts and candy is upon us. And lucky for us, there’s a lot to do in Bend on and around the big day. If you’re stuck not really knowing where you should go in the costume you’ve spent so much time making, here’s are six events to get you started.

1. Haunted Illusions and Halloween Party at the Tower Theater

This magic show is fun for the whole family. There will be tons of tricks and more than a few treats. You and your entire family will be captivated with dazzling spells, uproarious comedy and audience participation that gets all the ghosts, ghouls, and goblins into the act! David Caserta, seen on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, invents and performs many original illusions that you will not see anywhere else.

2. COCC Halloween Hall

COCC’s Wickiup Hall opens from 4:30 to 6:30pm on Halloween to provide a safe, warm and fun trick-or-treating experience for all kiddos. There’s candy, games and pumpkin painting, and the kids will have a great time knocking on doors.

3. Halloween in Downtown Bend

Another trick-or-treating experience, bring your kids down to Downtown Bend from 3pm to 5pm to get candy and swarm the streets with their costumes. Plus, don’t miss the myriad of events throughout downtown for all ages to enjoy.

4. Halloween on 6th Street in Downtown Redmond

Similar to the Downtown Bend experience, Redmond gathers around the popular 6th Street to collect candy from local businesses. This is a free, fun and safe way to spend Halloween afternoon. It runs from 4pm to 6pm.

5. Halloween in the Village at Sunriver

Kids of all ages are welcome to enjoy trick or treating with the village merchants and show off their favorite costume during the costume contest. New this year is the pet costume contest! There will be a bounce house, cupcake walk and ghoulish games. Event runs from 4pm to 6pm.

6. Instinct 2018: Halloween Warehouse Parties

Back for another year, Deschutes is throwing their warehouse party for not one, but two nights this year. November 2nd and 3rd, this party is adult-only so get the babysitter and leave the kiddos at home. General admission tickets are $30 for one night or $50 for both nights. VIP tickets are $60 for one night or $100 for both nights.
